Dried Grapefruit Peels

Elevate Your Citrus Profile! Deliver an intense, zesty grapefruit aroma with a clean, crisp bitter edge. The perfect botanical enhancer for hop-forward and Belgian-style beers.

Take your citrus flavor profiles to the next level with our Premium Dried Grapefruit Peels. Sourced from high-quality, vibrant grapefruit, these peels are carefully harvested and dehydrated at controlled low temperatures to fully lock in the volatile essential oils residing within the flavedo (the colored outer layer of the rind). The bitter white pith is thoughtfully minimized to prevent any harsh, astringent over-bitterness from entering your final brew.

Dried Grapefruit Peels contribute a sharp, refreshing, and authentic citrus punch mixed with subtle resinous tones. This profile blends flawlessly with modern American and Southern Hemisphere hop varieties, boosting the perceived “juiciness” and bright aroma of your beer. Whether utilized on the hot side during the whirlpool to extract deep flavors, or infused on the cold side for a pristine, aromatic top-note, this botanical is a versatile tool for any craft brewer.

Recommended Beer Styles:

• American IPAs / West Coast IPAs / NEIPAs: Excellent for stacking and amplifying the natural citrus characteristics of hops like Citra, Mosaic, and Centennial.

• Belgian Witbiers / Saisons: A fantastic modern twist or addition alongside traditional bitter orange peel for a sharper, more complex citrus layer.

• Pale Ales / Session IPAs: Adds a crisp, refreshing, easy-drinking brightness perfect for summer session beers.

• Hoppy Lagers & Fruit Radlers

Key Features:

• 100% Natural & Chemical-Free: Pure dried grapefruit rind with zero artificial flavorings, preservatives, or sulfur treatments, ensuring it is entirely safe for your yeast health.

• Preserved Essential Oils: Tailored dehydration methods retain maximal oil concentration, meaning the zesty aromatics instantly bloom upon contact with wort or alcohol.

• Brewery-Safe & Convenient: Unlike fresh zest, dried peels offer an extended shelf life, drastically reduce infection/contamination risks, and leave no messy fruit pulp debris behind.

• The Ultimate Hop Catalyst: Shares identical aromatic organic compounds with popular dual-purpose hops, helping bridge the gap between hop bitterness and true fruit expression.

Technical Specifications & Brewing Guidelines:
