The ideal strain to make authentic Belgian Witbiers or White Ales.
A high phenol producer dominated by notes of spice, which blend well with additions of herbs and/or fruit adjuncts.
A strong attenuator that leaves beer fairly dry, and with a slightly tart finish (it lowers pH more than other typical Ale strains).
Recommended Fermentation Temp: 19-23C
